# Configuration Change Request: User Profile — Fix User Creation & Authentication

## Summary

Fixed user creation flow (Add User modal) and hardened password handling across all record persistence paths. No schema or system configuration changes were made on the TiDB branch — all fixes are code-only.

## Changes

### System Data / Metadata

Test user records were created on the TiDB branch during E2E verification. These are ephemeral test data and do **not** need to be reproduced on production:

- `browsertest@test.com` (FirstName: Browser, LastName: TestUser, Profile: AI Agent Profile)
- `logintest@test.com` (FirstName: LoginTest, LastName: Verifier, Profile: AI Agent Profile)
- `testverifier@test.com` (FirstName: Test, LastName: Verifier, Profile: standard_user)
- `nousername@test.com` (FirstName: No, LastName: Username, Profile: standard_user)

No schema changes, permission changes, layout changes, or other system configuration was modified.
