# NexusCRM Open-Source Design Pack

This directory is the working design pack for the `NexusCRM` public-core split.

Use this pack as the current public-core definition set:

- `product/`, `self-hosting/`, `boundary/`, and `decision-index.md`
  - the public workspace/distribution contract for `NexusCRM public-core v1`

## Reading Order

If the question is "what is the public product and how do we launch it?",
read in this order:

1. `product/public-core-v1-definition.md`
2. `self-hosting/public-greenfield-bootstrap-contract.md`
3. `boundary/public-workspace-layout-and-content-policy.md`
4. `self-hosting/greenfield-bootstrap-runbook.md`
5. `self-hosting/backend-greenfield-bootstrap.md`
6. `decision-index.md`

Older step-pack documents from the design branch may have been folded into the
current contracts or removed.

## Core Rule

Do not collapse these three shapes into one:

- current source-repo layout
- package artifact layout
- installed platform-state layout

The current `controlplane/tenants/<tenant-id>/` overlay directory is a
transition/runtime mechanism. It is not, by itself, the long-term public
package/install contract.

## Current Scope Freeze

`NexusCRM public-core v1` is intentionally scoped to:

- public-core build
- greenfield bootstrap
- public remote service baseline
- explicit compatibility documentation

It is intentionally not scoped to:

- full package lifecycle closure
- full external tenant onboarding closure
- private tenant continuity packaging
- every current internal workflow

Historical task plans, issue plans, and one-off reports are intentionally not
kept in this directory once superseded. Use git history when old execution
evidence is needed.
