# Local Development

> Require FeiLian or office network.

1. Create a dedicated TiDB cluster on TiDBCloud

2. Update root password in AWS Secrets Manager

3. Import data to TiDB

    using https://github.com/pingcap-inc/compute-engine/blob/master/jobs/global/unstable-plan/example_data.sql.

4. Modify consts in the `local_run_scanner.go`

5. Start the main function in `local_run_scanner.go`

6. Start `tidb playground` locally

7. You can check results in the local db or console log
