# charconv

Convert a file from gb18030 to utf8.

## Build from source

Require Go 1.16+.

1. `git clone https://github.com/pingcap/enterprise-toolkit.git`
1. `cd charconv`
1. `go build -o charconv`

## Usage

```
Usage of charconv:
  -f string
    	encoding of original text, support gbk(gb18030, gb2312) and utf8 (default "gbk")
  -i string
    	input file
  -o string
    	output file
  -t string
    	encoding for output, support gbk(gb18030, gb2312) and utf8 (default "utf8")
```

Example:

```
./charconv -i gb18030_test.txt -o utf8_test.txt
```
