The next step is called Append. The so-called Append means that the TiKV node receives the raft log and persists it in its own rockdb raft instance, which means it is stored locally. However, since we usually have multiple copies of a region (3 copies by default), we also need to replica this raft log to another replica, which is the next replicate.
