# [FAQ] 过多的 tombstone key 导致出现类似热点的现象

个别或部分 store 的 raft store CPU 比其他 store 高，表面上看起来是热点。  
查看监控发现个别 TiKV 的 tombstone key 特别多，执行计划中扫描的无效 key 也特别多。

## Content

因为 GC 不工作，导致 tombstone key 太多，tikv 在 seek 期间处理这些 tombstone key 使用了较多 raft store CPU。  
从 TiDB slow log 或者 TiKV 的监控中看到可疑”热点“ 所在 tikv 上 tombstone 明显多于其他实例，那么这台实例可以通过 compaction 消除一些 tombstone 产生的热点。  
其实并不是热点，也可以认为是热点的一个变种，tombstone key 热点。
