# Execution Plans

The plan archive under `docs/exec-plans/` is for multi-step work that needs a
durable written plan or a tech-debt paper trail.

## Directory Layout

- [`./exec-plans/active/README.md`](./exec-plans/active/README.md): plans that
  are still being executed
- [`./exec-plans/completed/README.md`](./exec-plans/completed/README.md):
  archived plans after work ships
- [`./exec-plans/tech-debt-tracker.md`](./exec-plans/tech-debt-tracker.md):
  repository-wide debt that should stay visible across tickets

## Usage Rules

- Linear remains the source of truth for ticket state and day-to-day execution.
- Put only durable plans here, not temporary scratch notes.
- Move plans from `active/` to `completed/` when the work is done and the notes
  still matter.
