# PingCAP CRM Pack

PingCAP CRM Pack defines PingCAP-specific sales metadata, validation, flows, Env Inspection expectations, and regression expectations layered on top of the standard CRM substrate.

## Language

**Account**: The customer organization that owns Quotes, Orders, and Contracts for this validation context.
_Avoid_: User, buyer

**Governing Contract**: An Account-level Contract that authorizes an Order for its service period. Cloud Orders use a CSA as the governing contract; OP Orders use an MA.
_Avoid_: Associated Contract when discussing PingCAP Order validation

**Governing Contract Family**: The normalized family used for choosing a governing Contract type. Current values are Cloud and OP.
_Avoid_: Product Family when the rule needs the normalized contract family

**CSA**: A Cloud Services Agreement Contract for TiDB Cloud business. For governing-contract validation, this includes both the standard CSA and the online CSA Contract record types.
_Avoid_: Cloud contract

**MA**: A Master Agreement Contract for OP business.
_Avoid_: Enterprise contract

**OP**: The on-prem / enterprise subscription business family that is governed by an MA for Order validation.
_Avoid_: Non-cloud

**Order Service Period**: The canonical start and end dates that the Order is selling service for, not the upload date or archive date.
_Avoid_: Order lifetime

**Archived Order Form**: The signed Order attachment uploaded at the final Order archive step.
_Avoid_: Order upload

**Order Activation**: The transition of an Order into Activated status after required archive steps and validation gates pass.
_Avoid_: Order creation, Order archive

**Order Contract Link**: The optional lookup from Order to Contract. PingCAP governing-contract validation does not depend on this link.
_Avoid_: Governing Contract

**Campaign Member**: A campaign participation row for a Lead or Contact in PingCAP CRM.
_Avoid_: Campaign attendee when discussing the CRM record

**Campaign Member Person Field**: A read-only CampaignMember field that identifies or contacts the related Lead or Contact: Name, First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, or Company (Account).
_Avoid_: Backfilled CampaignMember field

**Imported Campaign Member**: A CampaignMember row loaded from Salesforce or another migration path rather than created through the NexusCRM record API.
_Avoid_: Legacy record when the important fact is the import path
