# Online Systemd Rules

This directory is for production-facing systemd and backend-runner ownership
notes.

Current rules:

1. the generated backend runner is part of the runtime contract
2. production restarts through systemd, not ad-hoc shell startup
3. the runner may materialize public URL exports that must stay aligned with the env file and nginx contract

Operational warning:

1. after production domain changes, regenerate or patch the runner before restarting systemd
2. backend health can be green while browser login is still broken if the runner exports stale public URLs
