# Design Notes

Use these visual rules as the default for OSS Insight pages unless a page has an explicit exception.

- Link color: `#fbe593`
- Link hover color: `#fceeb4`
- Home page background color: `#212122`
- Navigation bar background color: `#212122`
- General page background color: `#1a1a1b`
- Do not wrap normal page content in cards.
- Cards are generally only for list items or repeated content blocks.

Design intent:

- Prefer flat page sections over boxed containers.
- Keep the background system simple and consistent across pages.
- Avoid unnecessary borders, gradients, and decorative frames around standard content areas.
