# The Challenges of TiDB Cluster Management in Enterprises

+ Cluster size increase
  + Number of clusters
  + Number of nodes
  + Component Quantity
  + Number of Tools
+ Cluster complexity growth
  + Configuration parameter complexity
  + Command-line complexity
  + Management interface complexity

-------------------------------------------------------------
Currently, some enterprises have deployed multiple TiDB clusters in the production environment, and with the increasing number of clusters, large scale and deeper use, the cluster management problems brought about are also increasing. This mainly manifests in two aspects. One is the increasing number, including the number of clusters, nodes, components and tools we manage, which are increasing, and the workload is getting heavier under the same manpower; the other is complexity, with the evolution of version, our configuration parameters, command line parameters and management interface syntax become very complex, and manual operation is very easy to operate.

In summary, as enterprises delve deeper into the use of TiDB databases, the management issues of clusters become increasingly apparent.
