# TiFlash 主要功能: 异步复制

首先, 我们知道 TiFlash 中的 Region 和 TiKV 的 Region 数据是相同的, 只是采用了列存技术。

其次, TiFlash 中的 Region 以 Raft Learner 角色接入 TiKV 原本的 Raft Group, 构成一个新的 Raft Group。但是, TiFlash 中的 Region 不参与投票或者选举, 不算做多数派成员, 也就是说, 如果 Leader 写完了多数派的 Follower 就可以确认数据写入成功, 不用理会 TiFlash 中的 Learner 节点是否写入成功，TiFlash 属于异步复制, 对于 TiKV 的性能影响非常小。

最后, TiFlash 内部采用基于主键的快速更新机制, 使其虽然属于异步复制, 但不会与 TiKV 有太大延迟。
