  + **`DECIMAL[(p[,s])]`**: **`p`** is the precision, **`s`** is the scale

- TiDB supports all fixed-point types of MySQL, including DECIMAL and NUMERIC

`DECIMAL(p[,s])` or `NUMERIC(p[,s])`, `p` is the precision and `s` is the scale. The precision represents the number of significant digits that are stored for values, and the scale represents the number of digits that can be stored following the decimal point.
