__*pager less -S*__
+ Use **\G** instead of semicolons **;** to display rows in results vertically
+ Use asterisks with caution, it can be a waste of resources and have unpredictable results due to definition changes
+ Use the **DESC SELECT...** or **EXPLAIN SELECT...** to get the physical execution plan of SQL statements
+ When you use a MySQL client program to connect to TiDB, you can set up a session using the **pager less -S** command to read the full screen output in a moving window manner
