Challenges of transaction in distributed systems

Within a single data node, transaction are limited to access control to a single database resource, and are referred to as local transaction. Nearly all mature relational databases provide native support for local transactions. However, in a distributed environment, the introduction of multiple physical nodes has increased the uncertainty factor of the network. This is the implement of transaction in a distributed system, which adds a lot of complexity. Let's take a look at this problem in several dimensions.

Atomicity of distributed transaction

Under the microservice framework system, we often see various distributed transaction models. Here we make a simple division. Some distributed transaction rely on the application layer for adaptation, and some are implement at the database (data) layer.
