------------------------------------------------------------

Hotspot Region are unevenly distributed

In a TiDB cluster, the best thing is that the reads and writes traffic on each TiKV node is a fairly balanced state, and this goal is achieved through the hotspot scheduling algorithm. However, in the actual production environment, there will still be uneven distribution of hot spots.

Problem phenomenon

We can check the balance of reads and writes traffic in the cluster by the following methods, and whether there is an abnormal TiKV that is higher than the other TiKV nodes:
- Grafana PD —> Statistics - hot write
  - Hot Region's leader distribution: The number of leaders that became write hotspots on each TiKV instance
  - Total written bytes on hot leader Regions: The total write traffic size of all leaders that became write hotspots on each TiKV instance
  - Hot Write Region's peer distribution: The number of peers that became write hotspots on each TiKV instance
  - Total written bytes on hot peer regions: Write traffic size of all peers that are write hotspots on each TiKV instance
  - Store Write rate bytes: Total write traffic for each TiKV instance
  - Store Write Rate Keys: Total write keys for each TiKV instance
