HTAP technology
In 2005, Gartner proposed the concept of HTAP (Hybrid transactional/analytical processing, Online Transactional Processing transactional/online analytical processing database), and in 2014, Gartner gave a clear definition of HTAP database, HTAP data The library needs to support both OLTP and OLAP scenario.

First, the characteristics of OLTP services can be summarized as follows:
1. Memory is generally used to support real-time updates.
2. Supports high concurrency and requires high consistency.
3. Query a small amount of data each time.

Second, the characteristics of OLAP services can be summarized as follows:
1. Generally, column store is used, and there are many batch updates.
2. Low number of concurrency.
3. Manipulate large amounts of data every time

For example, our daily payments and transfers are OLTP business, and reports and real-time statistics are OLAP business. HTAP refers to a database technology that can support both OLTP and OLAP scenario.
