# Step 7: Verifying the Status of the Running `TiDB`

+ Check the status of the cluster named `tidb-test` with TiUP
  + **`tiup cluster display tidb-test`**

+ Check cluster status with `TiDB Dashboard` and `Grafana`

After deploying a `TiDB` cluster, check whether the cluster is working properly.

Check cluster status with `TiUP`:
```
tiup cluster display ${cluster-name}
```

Check cluster status with `TiDB` Dashboard and `Grafana`:
- `TiDB` Dashboard: Log in to the `TiDB` Dashboard via `{PD-ip-address}:{PD-port}/dashboard` with root user credentials. The default password is blank.    
- `Grafana`: Log in to Grafana Monitoring via `{Grafana-IP}:3000`. The default username and password are `admin/admin`.
