# Backup Scopes

+ Backup scopes are categorized by the data in the backups:
  + **`Full`**: Contains all schemas (or databases) in a TiDB cluster
  + **`Partial`**:
    + **`Schema`**: Contains specific schemas (or databases)
    + **`Table`**: Contains specific tables
      + **`Filtered Rows`**: Contains rows filtered by a **`WHERE`** like expression
