# Choosing the Cluster Tier

+ `TiDB Cloud` offers the following cluster options. Before you create a `TiDB` cluster, consider which option is best for your needs:
  + `TiDB Serverless`
  + `TiDB Dedicated`

`TiDB Serverless`: `TiDB Serverless` is a fully managed service for `TiDB`.

`TiDB Dedicated`: `TiDB Dedicated` is dedicated to production use and offers the benefits of high availability across availability zone, horizontal scale, and `HTAP`.
