# Connecting through `VPC Peering` (TiDB Dedicated)

Following steps are for `Dedicated Tier` only.

To connect to a `TiDB` cluster via `VPC peering`, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the `Active Clusters` page and click the name of the newly created cluster.
- Click `Connect and select VPC peering` in the `Connect to TiDB` dialog box.
- Set up `VPC peering`. For more information, see: `https://docs.pingcap.com/tidbcloud/set-up-vpc-peering-connections`.
- Click `Get Endpoint` and wait a few minutes. The connect command is displayed in a dialog box.
- Use a `SQL Client` to connect to `TiDB Cloud` from a server connected by the `VPC peering`.
