# Connecting by using `Web SQL Shell` (TiDB Dedicated)

On the `Active Clusters` page, click the name of the newly created cluster.

Click `Connect` to enter the `Connect to TiDB` dialog box and select `Web SQL Shell`.

Click `Open SQL Shell`.

Enter the root password for the current cluster when prompted. Then connect to the `TiDB` cluster.
