# Configuring `Grafana` Data Source

  + On the `Data Source` tab under `Configuration`, add or ensure the cluster `Prometheus` as the data source

If you deploy the `TiDB` cluster using `TiUP`, the monitoring and alert services are automatically deployed, and no manual deployment and configuration are needed.

On `Dashboard Import` page, click `Upload JSON file` to upload the `Grafana` dashboard configuration for:
- `TiDB` servers: `https://github.com/pingcap/tidb/tree/master/metrics/grafana` 
- `TiKV` servers: `https://github.com/tikv/tikv/tree/master/metrics/grafana`
- `PD` servers: `https://github.com/tikv/pd/tree/master/metrics/grafana`
