# Introduction to `TiDB` Dashboard

+ Is a built-in component that is part of the `Placement Driver (PD)`
+ Deployed with the PD without additional installation steps
+ `TiDB` Dashboard displays the following information and graphs:
  + `TiDB` cluster status
  + Components and hosts running status
  + Read and write traffic trends and distribution
  + Reports for diagnosing common cluster problems
  + Logs for all components

`TiDB Dashboard` is a `Web UI` for monitoring, diagnosing, and managing the TiDB cluster, which is available since `v4.0`. It is built into the Placement Driver (PD) component and does not require additional deployment.
