# `TiDB Lightning` Task Parameter: `max-error`
+ Section: **`[lightning]`**
+ Name: **`max-error`**
+ Description:
  + The maximum number of non-fatal errors to tolerate before stopping `TiDB Lightning`.
+ For example, assign 0 to allow zero tolerance for non-fatal errors:
```
[lightning]
max-error = 0
```
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Non-fatal errors are those that are localized to a few rows, and ignoring those rows allow the import process to continue.

Setting this to non-zero means `TiDB Lightning` will stop as soon as possible when the specified count errors had been encountered.

The skipped rows will be inserted to tables inside the "`task info`" schema on the target `TiDB` cluster, which can be configured by `task-info-schema-name`.
