# Data Migration on TiDB Cloud - Import Data Example (Amazon S3)

Navigate to the `Active Clusters` page and click the name of the target cluster. The overview page for the target cluster is displayed.

In the cluster information pane on the left, click `Import`. The `Data Import Task` page appears.

The sample data bucket is hosted in the `US West (Oregon)` region of `AWS`.

Enter the sample data `URL` in the `"Bucket URL"` field
    
For `"Data Format"`, you can choose `TiDB Dumpling`, `Aurora Backup Snapshot`, `CSV`, `Parquet`


For `"Target Database"`, enter the root in `"Username"` and the root password of the cluster in `"Password"`.

    notice
    If you have created a custom user for the target database, you can also use the name and corresponding password of the newly created user.

Leave the `DB/Tables Filter` blank.

Click `Import`. Then start importing the sample data.

After the cluster completes the data import process, you will get sample data in the database.
