-------------------------------------------------------------
Each node in a typical TiDB database cluster has software binaries, configuration files, log files, and data files. A binary file is a program file and is used to run a program. The configuration file is generally used to persist the cluster configuration information of this node, which is loaded when the node starts. The log file is used to store the logging of the node when it is running. Each node will have the above three files. For data files, since the TiDB server is only responsible for processing SQL during operation and is not responsible for persisting data, we cannot find it on the TiDB server, and other nodes will use data files. For example, the data file of TiKV is stored The data in the database, while the PD node stores the KV's metadata.
