-------------------------------------------------------------
To create a Dedicated Tier, follow these steps:

On the TiDB Cloud Cluster page, click "Create Cluster" and select Dedicated Tier.

On the "Create Cluster" page, modify the default cluster name and port number as needed, select the cloud provider and region, and then click "Next".

    notice
If you sign up for TiDB Cloud through the AWS Marketplace, the cloud provider is AWS and you cannot change it in TiDB Cloud.

If this is the first cluster for your current project and you have not configured a CIDR for this project, you will need to set the project CIDR, and then click Next. If you don't see the project CIDR column, you have configured a CIDR for this item.

    notice
When setting the project CIDR, avoid conflicts with the network segment of the VPC where the application is located. Once the project CIDR is set, it cannot be modify.

Configure the cluster size trial version of TiDB, TiKV, and TiFlash (optional)), and then click "Next".

Confirm the cluster information in the middle zone and the billing information in the right window.
Please refer to the Dedicated Tier billing method: https://docs.pingcap.com/tidbcloud/tidb-cloud-billing

If you haven't added a payment method, click Add Credit Card in the right pane.

    notice
If you sign up for TiDB Cloud through the AWS Marketplace, you can pay directly through your AWS account, but you cannot add a payment method or download an invoice in the TiDB Cloud Portal.

Click Create.
The cluster creation process starts, and the Security Quick Start dialog box is displayed.

In the Security Quick Start dialog box, set the root password and the IP address that is allowed to connect to the cluster, and then click Apply.

The TiDB Cloud cluster will be created in about 5 to 15 minutes.
