# Connect Via SQL Shell

On the Active Clusters page, click the name of the newly created cluster

Click Connect to enter the Connect to TiDB dialog box and select Web SQL Shell

Click Open SQL Shell

Enter the root password for the current cluster when prompted. Then connect to the TiDB cluster.
