# Management User Password

This section applies only to TiDB Cloud registered with an email address and password. If you register for TiDB Cloud through Google or GitHub, your password will be managed by Google or GitHub, and you cannot change your password using the TiDB Cloud console.

To improve the security of your system, if you sign up for TiDB Cloud with your email and password, we recommend that you reset your password every 90 days.

To change your password, follow these steps:

    Click your account name in the upper right corner of the window.

    Click Account.

    Click the Change Password tab.

    Click "Change Password" and check if there is a link to reset your password in your email.

    If your password hasn't changed within 90 days, you will be prompted to reset your password when you log in to TiDB Cloud. We recommend that you follow the prompts to reset your password.
