# Access to the Monitoring System of the TiDB Database

For Prometheus+Grafana monitoring, if we use TiUP for deployment and set up Monitoring*servers，grafana*Servers and alertmanager_servers servers during deployment. Then I can access the Grafana monitoring page through the address: http://{Grafana server IP address} :3000. The default username and password are admin.

If we don't set up a monitoring system at the time of deployment, then we can manually deploy TiDB cluster monitoring later. For manual deployment, we can refer to the documentation https://docs.pingcap.com/zh/tidb/stable/deploy-monitoring-services

For the dashboard of TiDB, I can access the monitoring page through the address: http://{pd-ip}:2379/dashboard. The default user name is root and the password is empty.
