# Common Monitoring Metrics for PD

Regarding the monitoring method of Prometheus+ Grafana, in PD monitoring information, we mainly care about scheduling information and response information. The most commonly used ones are:

Current storage size: The amount of storage space occupied by the TiDB cluster that contains replicas.

Number of Region: The number of regions in the current cluster.

Region health: The health status of each region.

Please note that any monitoring metric must be aware of the timeframe before monitoring, which is the range you are concerned about.
