To make the following scale-down or scale-down changes, you need to submit a support ticket. We will contact you and complete it within the agreed time.

    The scaling in and out changes described above can be risky, which can result in insufficient storage space, high CPU utilization, or high memory usage on the remaining nodes.

To submit a support request, follow the steps in TiDB Cloud Support and contact our support team. For each node you want to scale, provide the following information in the Description:

    Cluster name: xxx
    Cloud provider: GCP or AWS
    Node type: TiDB, TiKV, or TiFlash
    Current node size: xxx
    Expected node size: xxx
    Current node number: xxx
    Expected node number: xxx

After you create a cluster, you cannot reduce the cluster storage size.
