# Upgrade FAQ 1

+ The error was interrupted during the upgrade. How to continue the upgrade after processing the error
  + View the operation record to find the ID of the failed upgrade action record
    + `tiup cluster audit`

  + Retry the last upgrade record
    + `tiup cluster replay <audit-id>`

Execute the tiup cluster upgrade command again to upgrade. The upgrade operation restart the nodes that have been upgraded before. If you do not want to restart an upgraded node, you can use the replay subcommand to retry the operation, method follows:

Use the tiup cluster audit command to view the operation history:
tiup cluster audit

Locate the failed upgrade action record in it and make a note of the ID of the action record. You will use the <audit-id>value that represents the action record ID in the next step.

Use the tiup cluster replay <audit-id>command to retry the operation:
TIUP CLUSTER REPLAY <audit-id>
