# Using BR - Single Table Backup

__*Using BR*__
__*BR single table backup*__

```
br backup table \
    --pd "${PDIP}:2379" \
    --db test \
    --table usertable \
    --storage "s3://backup-data/table-db-usertable/2022-01-30/" \
    --ratelimit 128 \
    --log-file backuptable.log
```
-------------------------------------------------------------
To back up the data of a specified single table in a cluster, use the br backup table command. You can also use br backup table —help to get help with the subcommand table.

Use case: Back up the table test.usertable to the table-db-usertable/2022-01-30/ prefix directory under the bucket named backup-data in S3.

br backup table\
    —pd "$ {PDIP} :2379"\
    —db test\
    —table usertable\
    —storage "s3://backup-data/table-db-usertable/2022-01-30/"\
    —ratelimit 128\
    —log-file backuptable.log

The table subcommand has two options —db and —table, which are used to specify the database name and table name respectively. The other options have the same meaning as backing up a TiDB cluster snapshot.
