# Using TiCDC - Cdc Cli Management Tool

cdc cli refers to the execution of the cli subcommand via cdc binary. In the following description, the cli command is executed directly from the cdc binary, and the PD's listening IP address is 10.0.10.25 and the port is 2379.

The IP and port that PD listening on corresponds to the advertise-client-urls parameter specified when the pd-server is started. Multiple pd-servers will contain more than one of these parameters, and the user can specify any one or more of them. For example, —pd= http://10.0.10.25:2379 or —pd= http://10.0.10.25:2379,http://10.0.10.26:2379,http://10.0.10.27:2379.

If the TiCDC you are using is deployed with TiUP, you need to replace the cdc cli with tiup ctl cdc in the following command.
