# Binlog Format for TiDB Databases

+ Record changes to the smallest unit for each row of data
+ Only committed transaction are recorded, and full transaction are recorded
  + The primary key and start timestamp are recorded in the binlog
  + Timestamps for commits are recorded in the binlog

The Binlog of TiDB database has the following characteristics:
1. Similar to the MySQL binlog's Row format.
2. Records the minimum unit of change for each row of data.
3. Only committed transactions are recorded, and the full transaction is recorded.
  1. The primary key and start timestamp are recorded in the binlog.
  2. The timestamp of the commit is recorded in the binlog.
