# Using TiDB Binlog - Pump Starts

```
./bin/pump -config pump.toml
# Pump Configuration
addr = "192.168.0.11:8250"
advertise-addr = "192.168.0.11:8250"
gc = 7
data-dir = "data.pump"
heartbeat-interval = 2
pd-urls = "http://192.168.0.16:2379,http://192.168.0.15:2379,http://192.168.0.14:2379"
```
-------------------------------------------------------------

We can start the Pump node with the following command:
. /bin/pump -config pump.toml
Note: The pump.toml configuration file mainly specifies the pump address, log retention time, data storage location, heartbeat interval, and cluster information, etc., for example:

# Pump Configuration

# Pump Bound Address
addr = "192.168.0. 11:8250"

# The Address Where Pump Provides Services to the Outside World
advertise-addr = "192.168.0. 11:8250"

# Pump Only Keeps Data Up to How Many Days (default 7)
gc = 7

# Pump Data Storage Location Path
data-dir = "data.pump"

# The Interval (in Seconds) That Pump Sends Heartbeats to PD
heartbeat-interval = 2

# Addresses of PD Cluster Nodes (separated by Commas, No Spaces in Between)
pd-urls = "http://192.168.0.16:2379,http://192.168.0.15:2379,http://192.168.0.14:2379"
