+ Using composite indexes requires adherence to the leftmost index principle
  + Composite indexes must use fields in the order of the column in the index. If the leading index column is not used, subsequent index column cannot be used
  + In a composite index, if the leading column uses a range query, the subsequent column cannot be filtered and sort using the index
