# Console Audit Logging

The TiDB Cloud console audit logging tracks various operations performed by all administrator roles within the organization on the TiDB Cloud console. This provides support to organization owners and audit administrators for activity auditing analysis.

The logging timezone is sensitive to the organization's timezone setting.

The audit event types for console audit logging include: 
- Organization management events
- Project management events
- Cluster management events

You should enable console audit logging at the organization level to ensure that the audit function takes effect at all three levels (organization, project and cluster). Console audit logging records events within the last 90 days. To ensure longer data retention, it is advisable to regularly export and backup audit logs. You should regularly analyze the audit log information to identify possible risky operations and ensure the security of your resources and data.
