# VPC Peering (TiDB Dedicated)

+ TiDB Cloud VPC and your VPC cannot use the same CIDR

A VPC peering connection is a networking link between two VPCs (your VPC and TiDB Cloud VPC) that allows you to send and receive data between them using private IP addresses.

TiDB Cloud only supports customer VPC and TiDB Cloud VPC peering within the same region. Therefore, once VPC peering is set up in a region of a project, all the TiDB Dedicated clusters created in the same region of this project can be connected from the customer VPC.
