# `TiFlash MPP` Process

In this slide, the SQL statement is:

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM order, product
WHERE order.pid = product.pid
AND SUBSTR(order.dic, 3) = '7c0'
AND product.pct_date > '2021-09-30'
GROUP BY order.state;
```

The `order` and `product` tables are distributed across three TiFlash columnar nodes. The join column `pid` in these tables is not aligned across the nodes, meaning that a row with `pid = 10` in the `order` table might not reside on the same TiFlash node as a row with `pid = 10` in the `product` table.
