The default trigger conditions for automatic collection of statistics in the TiDB database are shown on the slides.

By default, automatic statistics collection is enabled continuously, provided that modified data in a table constitutes at least 50% of the total row count. In practice, statistics collection is a resource-intensive operation, as it necessitates a full table scan and computation. Consequently, if automatic statistics collection adversely impacts user experience, it may be necessary to disable automatic collection and transition to manual statistics gathering and management.
