## Overview

In this lab, you migrate data from MySQL to TiDB using the `TiDB Data Migration` tool, it is used for supporting the full data migration and the incremental data replication from the upstream MySQL instances into downstream TiDB instance.

### Tasks

+ Install `TiDB Data Migration` component.
+ Deploy and start a `TiDB Data Migration` cluster using a topology file.
+ Install `dmctl`.
+ Create the TiDB Data Migration source configurations.
+ Enable the MySQL upstream.
+ Create the TiDB Data Migration task configuration and start the migration task.
+ Verify the result of the TiDB Data Migration task.
