## Conclusion

In this lab, we show you that TiProxy's capability of load balancing, connection persistence, and service discovery. We also show you the application design best practice to make sure your application is always-on in the TiDB server unexpected downtime.

In production environment, multiple TiProxy's may be deployed, and in such case, there may be an extra network load balancer asides between the client and the TiProxy. (See the figure below as an example.)
