## Summary

In this lab, you completed an agent workflow centered on TiDB Cloud Branching:

- Built intuition from Manus materials: agents need verifiable external state and a branching exploration mechanism.
- Understood TiDB Cloud Branching and created a branch manually in the console.
- In a Todo app scenario, used a Strands Agent to generate schemas in parallel across branches, compare and choose, then continue evolving the user system from the selected node.
- Used a paper to understand why branch-style organization is an important engineering shape for solving complex agent tasks.

If you want to carry this approach into a real project, two practical starting points are:

- Turn **branch/backup before every DDL** into an automated policy (e.g., system prompts + tool-call constraints + approval/rollback flows).
- Establish comparison standards for schema/SQL changes (e.g., repeatable migration scripts, performance baselines for key queries, and data consistency checks).
