# `SST` File Format

+ **`Data block:`** Stores key-value pairs
+ **`Filter block:`** Stores some filter-related data, such as `Bloom` filters
+ **`Meta index block:`** Stores the index information of filter blocks (index information refers to the offset in the `sstable` file and the length of the data)
+ **`Index block:`** Stores the index information of data blocks
+ **`Footer:`** Stores the index information of the meta index block and the index block
