# `Meta` Service - `Heartbeat` Interval
+ `PD` will change the store status depending on the heartbeat report interval
+ For example, by default the `store` will be marked as:
  + **`Disconnected`** in case `PD` does not receive its `store` heartbeat for 20 seconds
  + **`Down`** for 30 minutes without heartbeats
