# Capacity Planning
+ Due to many factors, the ratio of flat file capacity to cluster capacity cannot be accurately estimated, so capacity planning is generally done empirically:
+ At least reserving `30%` for available space
+ Capacity `2.7~3.34` times the size of the flat file

------------------------------------------------------------
Consider reserving `30%` of the space, the cluster capacity should be `2.7~3.34` times the size of the flat file. Combined with the actual situation, it is assumed that the user needs the estimated capacity of 3 years, which can be directly calculated by 3 times. If the user needs to estimate the capacity in 1 year or less (i.e. there is only one purchasing window), a sufficient estimate should be given, using 3.5 times or higher.
