# Welcome to TiDB AWS Demo
This repository contains a collection of demos and hands on content that will guide you through the capabilities of TiDB and its tools. 
You can also run a command to automatically setup AWS environment and a TiDB cluster

# Automatic TiDB cluster setup
- [TiUP cluster](tiup/README.md):  Run a terraform script to spin up a TiDB cluster based on AWS EC2 virtual machines.
- [TiOperator cluster](tioperator/README.md):  Run a terraform script to spin up a TiDB cluster based on AWS EKS(Kubernetes) environment.  

# Demos 
- [Benchmark](demos/benchmark/README.md):  This demo helps you setup a TiDB cluster and do benchmark tests. You will be able to spin up a TiDB cluster with one command, with the spec you define, and then run benchmark tests such as sysbench, tpcc and tpch. 
- [High Availability](demos/high_availability/README.md)(UNDER DEVELOPMENT):  This demo helps you explore TiDB's high availability features. You will setup a TiDB cluster cluster in EKS with one command, use [ChaosMesh](https://chaos-mesh.org/) to inject errors, and see how TiDB's high availability work out with a django/python application.
